About Harvey Goldstein of Indonesia

Pioneering American businessman Harvey Goldstein has more than 45 years of experience as a business leader and venture capitalist in Southeast Asia. Over the course of his career, he has led numerous business development initiatives in Indonesia and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. As the founder and chairman of Harvest International Inc., Harvey Goldstein helps Fortune 100 companies do business in Indonesia by providing advisory services related to marketing, government relations, strategic planning, contract negotiation, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Goldstein’s career highlights also include serving as founding shareholder and director of Resources Management International, Inc., a firm dedicated to providing high-tech training to businesses in developing countries. More recently, he became managing director of Business-Link Consultancy PTE LTD.

Recognized for his leadership role within the Southeast Asian business community, Harvey Goldstein has served four terms as the president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia and two terms as the chairman of the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce. He has also held volunteer leadership positions with the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Indonesian Executive Circle, and the Eisenhower Exchange Fellowship.

Educated at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn,(Now NYU-POLY), Mr. Goldstein completed a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He subsequently earned a master of science degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University and studied towards his doctoral degree in Operations Research at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Concurrently Mr Goldstein held important research positions with Cornell University's Reaearch Laboratory both in New York as well as in Thailand.
